TSK550
Dielectric properties
TSK550 is a grease-like pastes designed with good dielectric properties. When applied properly, this silicone compound can protect electrical insulator surfaces against insulation deterioration due to deposits of dust, salt particles or other types of contaminant carried in the air. Surfaces coated with this compound can also repel water and resist corona. TSK5510 and TSK551 silicone compounds are similar except for color. TSK550 is not pigmented, while TSK551 contains a green pigment.

These silicone compounds are especially designed for coating outdoor electrical insulators. Electrical Insulators are used on transmission or distribution lines or on electrical apparatus located in factory areas, along railroad tracks or in seaside areas.
